Shot in Dalarna, Sweden 2019 by Niklas Porter. Photograph taken a rainy morning in a small village in the middle of Sweden, where Niklas lived for six months. The calm and tranquil environment inspired him to capture the feeling he got then and there.
This motif was shot on film, therefore grain is present. Grain lies in the nature of film photography. It’s an element of the photograph, contributing to the feeling the photographer sought to create by choosing to shoot analogue.
Niklas Porter is the modest observer who finds beauty with his Leica M2 in even the most casual of scenarios, moments others would pass by without a second glance. Read more about Niklas here.
