Frederik Darre is a Copenhagen native with an exceptional eye for design and shape. Perhaps it is in the Danish blood, or the result of a burning interest and many hours of practice. He describes his style as “expressive minimalism”, something that is clearly reflected in his pictures where nature meets architectural lines. He shoots both analogue and digital. Looking at a great analogue photo, where you see the actual result upon development, gives the same satisfaction as working your way towards the “perfect image” digitally.

It was during studies in landscape architecture that the photo interest grew and Frederik realized that he enjoyed walking around alone and experiencing different places through the lens. A desk job never appealed to him, which is why he instead decided to go for a career in production and has in recent years produced many fashion shoots and shows. Being the visionary person he is, Fredrik is now starting his own creative agency in Copenhagen together with a friend. Where his sense of framing and design can be utilized in the best way.
