The craftmanship
Together with our artist we aim to deliver art to you via moutife.com with the same focus on details and quality that you would get at your local gallery. All art prints are produced in our certified Hahnemühle studio. Hahnemühle is an industry-leading German paper manufacturer that started producing art paper over 400 years ago and their name has been synonymous with quality since.
The prints
We exclusively use acid-free paper made from 100% alpha cellulose or cotton fibre.
The most affordable art prints we offer, our range of Open Edition prints, are produced on a matte 210g paper, made of 100% alpha-cellulose. It has a smooth surface texture and the paper allows for excellent colour reproduction and clarity.
Limited Edition prints are produced on Hahnemühle’s most exclusive cotton-based papers. Which paper we use is decided case by case based on the artists vision and preferences, which is often dependent on the motif and its unique properties.
Frames & Accessories
Framing is an art in itself. The right frame can enhance your artwork, while the wrong one might become a distraction. Our frame has a classic yet sturdy profile with a Scandinavian feel to it, and a beautiful wooden finish. Available in oak, wenge and black. Sizes, 30x40 cm, 40x50 cm, 50x70 cm and 70x100 cm.
Apart from the aesthetic features, the frame serves a protective purpose. Not the least its glass. Our frame comes with a 2 mm recyclable acrylic from Plexiglas® to protect your art.
We also offer museum quality passepartout (aka mat board) in off-white. Acid- and lignin free.
Made to last
We are passionate about producing art that makes justice to our artists work, both in terms of image quality and lifespan. The lifespan of our most exclusive prints can stretch over generations, if properly handled. Naturally, our Limited Edition prints holds the highest level but our Open Edition art prints will also last a lifetime if handled with care.
To sum up, regardless of edition and price tag, quality is always key for us and we truly hope that you feel this when unboxing our artists' work.
