Shot by Martin Wichardt in Volos, Greece. "I enjoy aimlessly wandering through new places and cities, letting the camera guide my steps. One scene here, another there. Left up ahead, down the street, and right at the next intersection as the light draws me in. This photo was taken just like that. Volos, in the northeastern part of Greece, one of my favorite cities in the world. Beautiful and worn at the same time. Everyday life and vacation. The glimmer in the window from the setting sun caught my eye, cars parked there, the colors of the fence and facade. Camera to eye, click! Onto a new street, slowly moving towards the evening." - Martin
This motif was shot on film, therefore grain is present. Grain is inherent to film photography, contributing to the aesthetic the photographer aimed to create by choosing to shoot analog.

This giclée art print is produced on Photo Rag 308 gsm, in our certified Hahnemühle studio. Photo Rag 308 is a highly regarded art paper that has come to be a favored choice among artists and photographers worldwide for museum-quality reproductions.
The paper is made of 100% cotton fibres, and like all papers we work with, it is acid- and lignin-free and meets the most demanding standards for age resistance. If handled with care and properly framed and protected, this Giclée art print can last for generations.
We have carefully assembled a range of ready-to-hang wooden frames, using high-quality components and glazing typically found only at professional frame makers. With a Scandinavian design, beautiful wooden finish, and well-considered details, our wooden frames combine aesthetics, functionality, and durability.
Glazing options include state-of-the-art Artglass (anti-reflective, also known as invisible glazing) or 2 mm acrylic glass. Artglass is trusted by museums and art collectors worldwide for showcasing artwork, significantly enhancing the visual experience. Acrylic glass, on the other hand, is a popular, lightweight, and shatterproof alternative to traditional glass. Both options provide excellent protective qualities, notably against harmful UV rays.
Our custom-made passepartouts are acid- and lignin-free, meeting museum standards for lasting protection, offering a refined finish that complements your art.
