Shot in Illetas, Mallorca by Michaela Wissén. A pair of sailboats captured with an analog camera. In addition, the motif is taken with a film that had expired which adds an “antique” feel to the picture.
This motif was shot on film, therefore grain is present. Grain lies in the nature of film photography. It’s an element of the photograph, contributing to the feeling the photographer sought to create by choosing to shoot analogue.
Michaela Wissén is a Swedish photographer especially known for her analogue photos. However, she alters between techniques. Even though she is based in Sthlm, she is always on the move with the camera as a constant companion. >Read more about Michaela here.
