He credits patience as his biggest virtue, a quality that has served him well.

Jockum was born in Stockholm, grew up in Buenos Aires & Rotterdam and eventually graduated from high school in Antwerp. Growing up he always had an interest in art and crafts but it was during a 2 years stay in Barcelona he shifted his focus solely to photography. A teacher at Grisart Escola International de Fotografia encouraged him to apply and after that experience he enrolled in The Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Art where he graduated with honors 2006. Since then his work has been exhibited as well as found its way into magazines such as Elle, Marie Claire and Vice.
